Sims Freeplay answer immediate?!

The Love Is In The Air quest tells me to become partners with someone, but I already have a partner. What do I do?

You have them break up, then repeat the relationship process.

Or you could create two new Sims and do it all again. But it would be much quicker to break them up and redo I think.
