You click on the sim eating plant, then it will show you an option to negotiate with it for 3min.

It happens by chance. You plant the seeds with the green plant stamp on the picture of the vegetable or fruit, then after it's done growing, it can either give you what's on the picture of the plant or the sim eating plant.Altath89 answered:
When the goal is to negotiate with a sim eating plant your first. Move is to click on gardening and choose to garden a plant that is sim eating like lettuce etc (it is showed with a green triangle having a plant with teeth inside). When gardening is finished it either gives you money or the sim eating plant comes out. In the second case you click on the plant and choose "negotiate" for 3 mins. In case the sim eating plant does not come out you should do it all over again. I hope it helps!!
