How do I practice figure skating?

To practice Figure Skating, you have to first, build The Snow Park, which is located on the hill, behind the Fire Station. Once your snow Park is built, tap on the Hockey ice rink and select one of the actions for your sim to complete (make sure you have a sim "visit" the snow park first). Make sure that which ever sim you decide to have the ice skating Hobby, doesn't have any other hobby yet. In other words, one sim can only have one hobby. When your sim figure skates,mother will earn medals which will eventually give you the key to unlock the ski lift.

At The Snow Park(the Hockey rink) or make it snow and the pool will freeze over so you can Skate there.

To figure Skate in a neighbours snow Park firstly you have to go to the ice rink then click warm up, then click the icon with the briefcase (work, Hobby etc) and it should say your hobby is Figure Skating. Make sure you have no hobby first though or it will not work.

So I went to my Neighbors snow Park and clicked on a Snowboard ... And then it told me to go to the Hockey rink and practice. So I went to the hockey rink but the only thing that I can practice is hockey because the only thing there for me to click on is the hockey net. What do I click on to do Figure Skating options so that I can get these metals??

I also when to my neighbour to Skate but it won't let me click the ice just the Hockey net.. Why won't it let me click the ice?? Do I have to have the hill in my town first or doesn't matter? HELP

Make sure that that sim to have the ice skating Hobby instead of other hobby (or give up the other hobby). In other words, each sim can only have one hobby. The above answers are ALMOST accurate... Build The Snow Park, which is located on the hill, behind the Fire Station. Have a sim "visit" the snow Park. One the ice rink tap on ONE OF THE FOUR SMOOTH SURFACES that is NOT near the Hockey net and select one of the Figure Skating actions for your sim to complete (up to four Sims can simulateously practice figure skating -- useful to win the extra prizes in the 2-day metal awards time limit). A sim you will have to give up any other Hobby they may have. When your sim figure skates,mother will earn medals which will eventually give you the key to unlock the ski lift.

Buy the Skater's dream house for only 30LP and wait for it to be done. After building that house, just Skate there
