How do I place my teleporter? Everywhere I put it it goes red!

You can only place your teleporter of you have a two story house because when you entre the teleporter it brings you to the next level

i had finished this task but i cant find the teleporterRMChammer answered:
The teleporter is where the stairs are in your home decoration button thingy, and you get it for free but I don't know how to place it either
