Question for The Sims FreePlay

I added a third floor (iPad) in Sims Freeplay, but it isn't letting me add stairs, etc, even though I've added rooms and made sure there was clearance on all three floors. Please help, tomorrow is the last day for construction coins and the items they can purchase. I need to know if there is a special trick or level. Thanks!

I think the game is not configured for you to go beyond the 2nd level yet. Sure, you can add a 3rd level and higher but you can't get the stairs, elevators and such to reach these upper levels currently.

How do I get a second and third floor in sims 3
Guest answered:

I've added stairs to the third level. It's definitely possible, so check that you're building the stairs on the second floor.
