Question for The Sims FreePlay
I have 2 sims that I had done the propose marriage thing for an picked the cheapest ring I could afford at the time. They r not engaged an I'm out the money for it. How do I get them engaged or married without havin to spend more money? Is there a way to get that money I spent back since nothin happened?

No, you cannot get back any money or LPs you spent on unsuccessful marriage proposals. Once you spent it, they are gone, no matter if you succeed or fail.
Proposing with rings, other than the most expensive one, have a very high chance of failure.
You need to do the proposing with the most expensive ring (10LPs) to achieve a higher chance of success. So far, all my proposals using this ring gave me a 100% acceptance rate on the 1st attempt.
My advice. Save up until you have enough to get the most expensive ring. You are only going to waste your time and resources if you want to gamble with the cheaper rings. Don't rush into it when you have insufficient funds yet.
