Where is the Community Centre in Sim Town?

You have to build it

It's the building you send your teens to practise Karate and Ballet

It's top left of map

It's the old sports center where your preteens could train in Karate or Ballet.

Supposed to be where the Swimming centre used to be, but if like me you had someone swimming there at the time during the update I don't think it has changed over, hopefully there will be a follow up update to fix glitch?!

You can find it on The Town Map, ( on the left side) it's near the beach, it's the one with the sign that shows Karate, ballerina and someone with weights.... You have to build it first.... Hope this helps

Community centre is the place where teens practice their Karate and Ballet.

The Community Center is in the Ballet and Karate School where Preteens practice. You need to buy it. If you have one, then good! Then, you may see an icon where it shows up and down like that, click it. THEN IT'S DONE!

Update may be required, I updated mine & it's located at the too left hand corner but needs to be built

In the Ballet School. Upstairs.

Its where the preeteens do Ballet and Karate go up the stairs and click the button on the left to go to the woodwork studio!

The Sims Community Center is in the left hand corner of your town. It is where your sims preteen go to Ballet. If you don't have this center you must build it. Call a sim there ( use the sim finder icon/ whisle and it will fulfill a goal. Next in the right hand corner in a little up down arrow with a number click that to see the upstairs.

I updated my game. I can't also find that Community Center. I look at the left corner and I don't see anything. I searched for it for 5mins

I can't see any of those things either. I don't see anything related to Ballet, Karate, Woodworking or related icons. I also don't have any kids (or married folks for that matter). I'm on level 21. Don't know if these things matter?? Besides ghost hunting, I can't figure out how to give my Sims hobbies, either?!? What else am I missing?

I think mine has changed to a residents house, I didn't have it built before I did upgrade and now it's not there at all

Okay well this is so annoying!
I can't find the community centre anywhere on my map. It's not in the top left corner at all. There are just trees. No icon too build or anything!?? What do I do? I have watched every video but my map does not have the icon!

Im struggling with this long time, I only have Party Boat and saloon. Im on level 27 and have two preteens and a baby, I'm not able to make them have a different Hobby then only ghost hunting, I wish this was fixed as soon as posssible. I wanna build the comunity center but I can't find the option. Im very dissapointed. Othervise love the game

IF YOU WANT TO FIND THE COMMUNITY CENTRE PLEASE READ. I was unable to find it until I started the game again. Go through the Goals one at a time - bottom left of the screen. It scrolls across, 'tap for new goal' It will eventually let you build the community centre.

This is why this game totally sucks! If you missed the prompt to build a work place or did did not respond to it before the next goal you will never be able to access that feature of the game-this happens by level 6
Same with The Community Center. If you do not see the icon in the upper left of The Town Map by level 10ish YOU NEVER WILL!!!!! You have delete the app and reinstall to start over no matter how much you have spent.
Same with work places if you missed the goal of building a new work place at level 5 you will never complete the town or see The Community Center site. . Just delete and start over and follow the Goals set religiously
It sucks especially after you spent so much time and possibly money but that's the way it is. If you are on level 15 and do not see anything but house icons on your Town Map then that is all you will ever see.

If you go to the top left of the map, you should see it. These guys are saying that you have to reset your game, but I didn't do all of the stuff that they said you have to do, I'm a level 13, and I still have it. Just look at the top left of the map

I had the same problem - I couldn't see the community centre or any of the shops and stuff. As I didn't want to uninstall and lose everything, I thought I would try just shutting it down first and it worked!!
Just to be clear: I double clicked the button on my iPad then held my finger on the Sims icon until the minus sign appeared then touched the minus sign to shut down the app. When I re-opened the app, the community centre was showing on the map along with shops and the Swimming centre and the pond and loads of stuff I hadn't a clue were there! Really hope this works for others too!

Community Center: I HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM! BUT… I didn't have to reinstall it but I started completing every goal and then it showed up! I finally can access the Pet store that way too!

Do not delete your game. I just completed one of the Goals and all of a sudden The Community Center and two new Business popped up. I just want my Sims to be uninspired so they have a purpose. I used money cheat and that keeps them inspired mi want to be ale to have them needntombe inspired

Ok so I didn't have any businesses until I completed the use a cupcake goal. Once I did that I was able to build businesses. I was so frustrated because I didn't want to use 5 life points but you have to. Good luck.

Building my Community Center and the rime is in the negative! At like -18 seconds and going up! -18,-19,-20.... And so on. Why????? And it says I need 2million and something LPs to speed up the building. Anyone know what is going on? Thanx!
