How long do crops last before they wilt? Do I have to harvest beans after the nine hours or can I leave them until I can get to them?

No idea how long it will last or if they will wilt at all.
But I have harvested plants after leaving them alone for a day or so.

They do not seem to wilt or anything no matter how long you leave them. I have gone a whole weekend without playing Sims freeplay and harvesting my plants and nothing happened, so I think it will be fine no matter how long you wait before harvesting your plants.
