Question for The Sims FreePlay

I'm trying to do the mission "bake last batch of treats for bake sale" but it won't work. I click the oven, then click on cookies or pie etc and bake them and I did this ten times but it still says to bake one last batch. Anyone else have this problem and can anyone tell me what to do, am I doing something wrong?

Read the instruction carefully and see if there is something specific you have to bake. Do your Sims really produce something or are they having issues reaching the oven?
