Question for The Sims FreePlay
I am not able to demolish my house. It says I can't because there are still sims/pets still living there. But it's empty! Is there another reason why I am unable to demolish it?!

It may be empty, but it is technically not vacant until all the Sims that lived there either move in to a different house or are deleted. If you have actually moved the sims somewhere else then this should not be happening, look at the house from The Town Map and see if it is still represented by the face of a sim that used to live there. That means the sim has not yet been moved out so you need to make them good friends with another sim so they can move in with them.

Same problem, and I tried moving a sim in and out etc. It appeared to resolve once I returned a previous occupier from neighbouring town.

I miss having the same issue nothing above has worked #help please I actually spend a lot on the app and don't want to start over the lot is completely empty no Pets or Sims yet it won't let me clear the lot, I cleared the entire house and all furniture S.O.S!!!!!

You have to bring sim back from neighbors regardless of whether they live there or notGuest answered:
Assign an Adult sim to the house in question. Then invite another sim over. Have the 2 Sims start a romance. Then when you can ask the visiting sim to move in. Next, move the household to a new house and you will be able to demolish the house.
