How do I get my sim to go outside I've tried tapping on the area outside the house and my sim isn't doing anything

You can't really get them to walk outside in the street, but if you have built the Park you can go there and get some fresh air. Maybe bring along some friends.!

You might not have a door on the house for the sim to get outside or the path to the outside might be blocked by furniture or Sims. Hope this helped!

If you mean out in the street, they can't, but if it is out in the garden, check that you have a door(!) or that here is nothing directly blocking the door. Hope I was of use.

Maybe you don't have a door to lead outside, your sim could be stuck somewhere, or the door is blocked if it is then there will be a feet sign above there head and they will throw there heads.
