My sim will not go to school. The icon will not flash. It has been three days

Best thing, buy them a desk and make them study. They start to go to School.
Also if they don't go to work, buy stuff related to their Job from the Hobby store and make them do it. It works for me on the iPad 3. Good luck

Toddlers do not go to school. Just preteens and teenagers.

Or you should first make sure the school is actually built, then if you have built it then do what this guy/girl saidGuest answered:
You should try making them a Student by going to the Career tab but the School has to be built first choose night class evening class or mourning class. The icon should blink the next day or that moment depending on what class you chose hope his helped.....

I know I had the same thing if it is not flashing you can just buy a desk and make them study and they will go to School I had the same thing that I had four preteen Sims an only two went to school but I made the other two study hard enough and they stared to flash so yeah listen to the guest person she or he I right do what she or he said to do it's the only thing

After you build the School click on the school to enroll your PRETEEN for the night class morning class or the afternoon class after choosing the class you have to be there at the time zone you set your preteen
Up for.You can also try buying a desk in the preteen
Section to study.Hope that's helpful!

If your older Sims work a a certain time and you have a baby or toddler make one of you're sims not work and then your preteen can go School
