Question for The Sims FreePlay

I built an expensive house in my city and it's been finished for days now... However, when I try to finish it and create a sim, my game crashes and resets whatever my sims were doing. I updated it to try to remedy it but it didn't work. Can I reset the game without losing all my progress?

I wouldn't reset the game. You will lose all your progress and it resets back to zero. What you are experiencing is a bug which EA is aware of. They say it will be fixed at the next update. For now, ignore your new house and don't tap on it at all. Hopefully the next update will be soon, plenty of people are in your same situation. I actually received an email answer from EA themselves with this information. Hang tight.
