Question for The Sims FreePlay

My goal now is to have a baby, and I just married 2 couples. The 2 couples are living together in one big house now but before I got the baby goal I had already bought 2 cribs, one for each couple. Now that I finally have the goal I thought it would let me have a baby but the icon above the crib is still gray. I made a new couple and they are living in a different house and when I bought a crib for them it let me click on the icon and now I am having a baby for that couple but it still won't let the other 2 couples that are living together have babies. What should I do? I am on level 20 if it matters and I have the most recent update so I don't know what the problem could be. Does anyone know what to do?

Part of the goal is to buy the crib at the store, it won't work unless you do, even if you already have bought one.

To get the baby, you have to pay the LPs for it, and it takes a few hours. AND while you wait, the game won't allow for any new Sims until the one in progress is finished; that includes more babies.

If it's not because you're still waiting on the first baby to arrive, and you have the LPs for more, the only think I can think of is having your two couples in the same house.

You need to move one of the couple's out.Only 4 people/kids can live in one house.
