I would like an answer too. It just started happening after I put my Sims to gardening in each house, but it's never done it before. It's making me nervous that maybe my phone is going to get all messed up soon.

I get it after I make a sim do anything

It's a glitch, normally the square goes around a thing like hunger or bathroom. It blinks green when boosting whatever it is you're doing. So normally, if you were planting, the green square would surround the fun square. It just appears higher up on the screen than normal.

So helpful! Thx!
Guest answered:

It is just a glitch. Usually when the Sims needs are being fulfilled, a green box will flash around the right need. The glitch makes it flash around the wrong place on the screen.

I think you have that sum inspiration...,
Guest answered:

It is when one of your Sims are being fulfilled. Usually, it appears in the wrong position. The company might sort this out in the next update. Do not worry, it is a good thing. For instance, my sim was sleeping and it appeared as it needed to have some sleep.

I really wish I knew what it means. It only happens when my sims are all doing stuff, like baking, gardening, sleeping, etc, etc, etc.

Guest said: 13th Apr 2016 | REPORT
The boxes that light up around a sims needs when they are being filled have a glitch where sometimes they appear on other areas of the screen. That's the glitch.
Guest answered:

The green flashing box that appears, is just a glitch that happens for example my little toddler was sleeping and usually when they are doing something like sleeping around the zzz bit it flashes green but because there is a glitch it than flashes green in a random spot! Like mine just flashes in the middle left side!
Hope this helps you guys out!
