How do I delete a sim?

Click the button on the right hand side which brings you to the section where you can change clothes/hairstyle etc. When there you will see a red button at the top-left of the screen. This allows you to delete a sim.

Re the above answer--in the question, you'll see that the poster mentioned not being able to delete a sim via the method you described due to getting a "sim is needed for the tutorial" error. I'd also like an answer to this, as I'm having the same issue. What tutorial? Why provide the option to delete if it's never functional?

You Can delete Sims but it can't be you're original one! Hope it helps!

To anybody that deleted there Sims: If you deleted you'r sims freeplay app and want all the progress and money back sadly there isn't a way to do that but there is something helpful with the money and it should make the progress go up and the Town Value. This cheat makes money mail pop up and it gives you you'r pay from the Houses. Here is what you do: Buy enough gardens for all you'r sims and have all you'r sims plant most expensive plant. Next go to you'r settings and go to general. You will find an option that says set date and time, go to it. Turn you'r time to a year later. Next double click the home button and you should find the sims freeplay app. Hold it down and when the minus sign pops up hit it. Finally go back to you'r game and all the plants will be done and the money in you'r mailbox will be there and if you go to the town you will see that everyone has the money icon above their house. Well I hope this helped and don't forget you can always use this cheat.

In the latest update they deleted the free clothing button in which you could delete you're sim.

You can delete any sim in your town through the closet.... Original or not

I found out how! Just browse clothes when you click on a wardrobe or drawers then on the left hand side at the top there's a red cross on there and it will say are you sure you want to delete the sim, or something similar!

You tap on your wardrobe with the sim you want to delete. Tap on the icon that says browse clothes. Then press the symbol that is red and has a sim with a cross over it.

U have to click on the change clothes thing there Is a red thing click it and it will become would you like to delete your sim

The sim you want to move out can go to another persons house and move in with them. Then you can ge the baby and whal your doing that you can move your sim BACK in with you and have 5 Sims living in your house.

To get rid of a sim you have to go to a wardrobe and click on "browse clothes" and then there will be a red sign with a sim and a big X. Click on that and it will delete your sin. Hope it worked!!

When you go to change their clothes there is a red X with a sim on it the X is on the left hand side of the Sim the corner when you click that it will ask you if you want that sim to move out of town. If you do want it to move out the house it owned will stay the same and someone else can move in.

Go to your wardrobe/closet, then click change clothes. When you go onto the next screen there should be a little red x in the corner of the screen. Just press that and they are gone.

On the newest version (5.6.0) the delete button in the wardrobe is gone. So you can delete your sim by clicking on the sim, and on the top right corner, there will be a delete button. Hope this helps 😊

When you are on a sim (so the diamond is over it's head) tap on it again so that it comes up with options find a circle with a line on it in the right hand corner and click on it to delete that sim this is from the Cooking Hobby update I hope this is useful for you!

First go to the sim tracker and select the sim you want gone and tap it
Then you will see a red blocked button next to the Sims head
Tap it and it will say
Are you sure you want Sims name to move out of town?
Then tap yes

In the recently updated version, instead of going to the wardrobe, you can simply tap your character and it will give you that "Happy Birthday" option. When you see their name at the top, you'll see a picture of themselves with a red circle and a dash going through it. It will ask if you want to kick them out of town and you're done!

What you do is tap on the Sim you would like to delete. When you tap on it there's a red X that you will see. Tap that red X and it will ask you if you'd like to delete the Sim. You choose yes and voila, the Sim is gone!

Click on the sim you want to delete and next to the name at the top with be a red circle with a line through it. Click on that and say move town. That's how to delete a sim!

To delete a Sim tap on it, his or her actions will appear on the screen. That's what you should see. In the arc of actions, look to their name and press the red button, it will ask you if you want them to move out of town, this just means to delete them ( I don't think you can get them back...). If you don't see their aVaio able action on screen, the possibilities are that your Sim is already busy performing an action. Press the red button to quit the action and return to the first step.
