You click on the Car and choose go for a drive then you click on the city map and it will show your sim driving and every 4 seconds the music icon will appear and click on it. The music icon will give you money and that is the revenue. Ohh and only the Sims owner of the car will give you this revenue.

So do we have to buy a car
Guest answered:

If you click "go for a drive", then you have to go to The Town Map and then you must click on the person driving the Car in the list of people in your town. Then the screen will move to where the car is driving and you can collect the revenue as it drives. Voila!
