Eh the thing you can do is turn on the light or buy one if you need to. Usually the room that your sim walks in will light up itself even without a light.

I have bought loads of lights. Some of my houses are really bright with hardly any side lights and some are dark as and have loads? I just don't get it. Have tried all sorts of combinations of lamps as well?? V confused too!

Well, on my game sometimes the lights don't come on when I turn them on. It must be a glitch or somthing just keep trying to turn the lights on and off

To make room brighter, adjust the brightness in the settings on your ipad.

Well, I just figured out how to light your whole house with only one light

1. Buy a light and place it in a room
2. Turn it on
3. Click the furniture button on the bottom
4. Move the light to a different room
5. Go back to home and both rooms should bright!

Repeat for as many rooms as you want! This cheat worked on my game and I have the latest update. Good luck!

Edit: 6: turn the lights off then back on in the room you just moved the lights in.

I don't know why but none of these work for me. One house has a few rooms which don't light up in the middle and are still half dark. I think there might be a glitch :(

Sadly the only answer is buying lights or mods.
