Question for The Sims FreePlay

The store shows new seeds or food available. But the price shows a little knapsack with a number. What does that knapsack/backpack do?

I think that you may be looking at the price to buy the seed/food and how many XPs you can get from planting/cookinng. Other than that I don't know what to say. My available food/seeds just show the Simoleon Symbol with the cost, to the top left; the time it takes to grow/cook on the top, the pix of the item in the middle and the XPs on the bottom left. Is that what you are asking for?

Once you buy your seeds or baking stuff from supermarket, it will be become an inventory which you only see it when you are back to sim house gardening or baking mode. It will be shown as 1 with bag icon on left top instead of the price. You can compare the price when you select gardening mode back at sim house. The price of the same item will be cheaper at supermarket. It means you save money. You need to monitor your inventory and stock up by going back to supermarket for more supplies.
