Need help, cannot accept any request keep getting and error. Oops, try later....

I have the same problem. I've tried to delete the game and reinstall more than once. When I do, it shows over 450 invites. I can't accept or decline because it times out and never loads. I've researched as much as I can and it seems to have been a problem for some people since January 2013. Nobody has any suggestions or advice. If anyone here has ANY ideas please reply. This is very frustrating. Thank you!

Download the Origin client for your PC or Mac and delete friends from there: http://www.origin.com/download

If your friends do not load there either, it means that your computer is either blocking that traffic and/or you have too many invites for even the Origin client to handle. This happened to me, and the solution is to log into your Springfield using an Android device. Don't worry -- you will not lose your Springfield, as long as it has been synced with the Origin servers. The Android Version of Simpson's Tapped Out will allow you to view your friend invites by loading only about 20 at a time (instead of attempting to load all of them). I had nearly 2000 invites waiting for me, so it was kind of tedious. At around 500 invites left, I was able to load them in the Origin client that I mentioned earlier and I deleted them from there, which was much faster.

Btw, you can also delete any old pending Friend Requests through the Origin client too.

Btw, if you the Origin client doesn't work for you and you don't have access to an Android, then you can try downloading BlueStacks (from http://bluestacks.com), which is an Android emulator for your computer. The PC version works well, but the mac version is a little wonky.
