Why my friend got Otto Man for free as a gift and I have to buy it? Is it there a trick like for the statue?

I suspect your friend got Otto Man buy getting a Homer Buddha for 15 doughnuts. Homer Buddha can win you any item that cost doughnuts. Including the not so great ones like green garbage bins and a bench with a shirt on it. The gamble can pay off well though, just ask your friend.
