Question for The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I did the Christmas update and I have snow falling and everything but all of my houses to decorate still have not unlocked!! It's been 4-5 days so I know something's wrong. When will they unlock? Is there something I'm missing? I have over 200 coins now and I can't use them on anything bc it's all locked! Please help!

First you have to put the Christmas tree, then it will tell you to send Ned Flanders to snowmobile with his kids, then you have to send Homer and Lisa to pretend to skate, then you are allowed to decorate your houses! Hoped it helped!!

Have you placed your Christmas tree in your inventory? That starts a quest line where you have to do things such as make Ned snowmobile and Lisa make snow angel, then the quest line for decorating starts.

It's a quest that why they are locked so you have to finish some of quests you already have.

It's telling me I have to pay 75 Donuts for the tree what am I missing
