Wish I could help but I've been in the same boat the past two days. I get to the "synchronizing" part of the loading screen, the donut will freeze, and then the app just crashes.
I've got an Origin account, so I was wondering if deleting the app, re-uploading it onto my ipod and logging into said Origin account might fix the problem. Or if I'll still be unable to get into the game at all.

When I start the game it start to load but is said cannot be connect but I have wifi on I tried close the game and relog in but it won't work, what should I do help me.

The game will not load to "my Springfield" dew to the following
#1 server is overloaded with players to fix try to connect not at peak times
#2 game file corrupt to fix delete game and reinstall
#3 game needs updating to fix Update game
#4 ipa free and other illegal Cheats blocking game data to fix Update/restore device onto original ipsw (ios)

Yeah exact same thing just happened to me today wtf this is not cool at all something is wrong bc I tries opening it up on my tablet and and it won't open except it has a diff problem but I never had any issue like this until today and both around the same time I have deleted and reinstalled it which did NOT work

I got the app yesterday but whenever I tap toplay it just comes up with cannot connect to server

All I'm getting is sorry can't connect to server, maybe if you try again. I've deleted and re installed every possible way. It's been doing the same thing for two days. The donut freezes and it says it can't connect. Wtf can I get some help please!

It wouldn't work at all at first and I deleted and reinstalled it (android) and then I got about 4 seconds of play time, then it said "cannot connect to server" and I was unable to play it again. I GOT 4 SECONDS OUT OF THAT. COME ON!!!!!!
