Wat to do with the cube and empty fish bowl? Where is the key for the basement door?

Take the empty fish bowl the bathroom fill with water bring to fireplace to put out fire. There is a weight inside bring it upstairs to the study put it on scale and it will provide the key you need

Put the wooden cube (found in the globe) on the fire and then the bowl of water Smile

While the fire is lit, put the cube on it. it burns away revealing the weight. then put it out with the water from the golfish bowl. you have to refill it. xx

Go to the single bed in the bedroom then look under the bed there should be a chess piece take that to the chess board in the room with the fire place then put the chess piece on the board and then a secret apartment opens and that's the key to the adic

You light a fire with a log from outside. You put the cube in the fire. You then fill the empty fishbowl up with water from the bathtub and use that to extinguish the fire and then you can pick up what was inside the cube.
