I'm asking because I want to see a cave troll and I want to get some stuff and I'll try to defeat it I need some armor and I like ice armor .

If you find a cave or something else that has a deep hole if you go as far as you can you can find some special things there should be a troll there if not go deeper let me know if this helped you or not
Please help I really want to find a troll but I can't as hard as I try please tell me other tips
I didn't see any cave trolls but bought some ice torches in the trade portal and make a spawner like what other said
Ok heres how to find Cave Trolls,
1. They are near the Center of the World maybe about 40 blocks from the center.
2. When you hear a musical cue wherein that will almost give you a heart attack,your near,but after that music ended I suggest go inside a one block high tunnel because hey can't crawl(their to fat).
Note:
-don't attack a Cave Troll Head On,you will die.
-Always pack alot of Dodo Meat(Cooked) because they heal alot of health.
-don't use special 4 Corners of World Clothes,instead use full Iron Armor and have Iron Sword/Copper Sword.
-Be prepared like when you encountered a troll,run and loose him then make a one block high tunnel ready to make it easier.
-Never ever I mean ever ever ever ever use Bow.Why? It takes 100 Hits to kill it,But with Poison Bow it's easier but you will waste it.
I found a cave troll today and I found out that if you reach lava, mine left or right of the lava. It leads to a secret cave that has a cave troll lair!😀

I find that cave trolls are usually by magma or diamonds so if you find a diamond in a cave keep exploring cave there is a high chance there will be a cave troll in it.
I found one by lava, not so close to lava that I started to burn but just close to lava. It was an unlucky spawn though. It didn't have a trade portal OR ice torches. The troll was stuck in a crack so I took advantage of that and I just kept hitting him with an iron sword, not letting it hit me. It worked pretty well, and I didn't even have armor on. The chest had 15 amythests in it so that was a score.
To get platinum coins go and change your server rules and make sure you have a lot of titanium swords or anything like jet pack soon you will regret that you have a lot of couns
