How do you get past chamber of power?

I got through by powering up my armor and hearts and just double jumping through the lava (it takes 2 touches of the lava, but it won't kill you if you're wearing the armor or have enough hearts (you'd need at least 9). I did a long double-jump first, then the first time you hit the lava be careful not to jump again until you get a forward momentum -- the next time you hit the lava you should be right by the land at the other side.
If someone has a less suicidal way to cross this, please share!
Use your portal to the other side power up and there will be a bridge that crosses the lava
Have all the pieces of the Mageblade then return to th Chamber of Powers
