Is there a way to bypass or skip a mission?

I've been stuck for weeks. I need to drop my coins 20x in one run, it's harder than it sounds. I think the farthest I've gotten to finishing it was 83%.

Yes. You have to use your red stars. While playing, pause the game and it will show you the missions you need to complete. Next to the bar you will see 2 arrows and a number of red stars needed to skip the mission.

Use your red rings inhave to do that mission but only 15x/
