If you haven't updated to v2.0 you can adjust the device's date and time forward and back. Please Google "pocket frog time travel" for detailed instructions as it can mess up your game.
I've learned that with v2.0 if you try this trick all your frogs will revert to eggs when you go back in time. At least the taming effort isn't lost, but that's a hefty 2 day penalty for cheating.
Have you heard of the mailbox hack? If you use it and end up with a rare frog find an empty habitat and hit place on that frog as many times as you with, then tame, sell and enjoy!
P.s you will have to remove the 255 mailbox items and they come back, so buy something and have it ship to your mailbox after you have deleted the rest of Anuras'!
