I am not exactly sure what you mean by grow. Do you mean be able to place four habitats? If you do mean that, then you can buy another habitat slot with berries or just level up. If you mean hatch monsters, then I am not sure. Hope I helped!

The most amount of habitats you can have on the floor at one time is 5, but this is only after level 15. You can hatch only as many eggs as you have space for. If you have 4 habitats free but have 5 eggs incubating then you will not be able to place the last egg unless your one filled habitat becomes vacant within the time period it takes for the extra egg to hatch.
