Can I do it on the PE version
I want watermelon seeds and I have a farm of beetroot but I want melon

You can make a nether reactor core hope you know how. Activate it. Best without Mobs and pigmen you can change the difficulty in options. It should give Items.
It gives you pumpkins, melons, quartz things to make the quartz block and other Items. But if you allow pigmen they carry golden swords they may drop that I don't know about the swords. Hope this helps! =D
