How do I set off tnt
On mindcraft pe? Do I need to be in Survival mode?

All you need to do is put some down hover over the TNT click the top of the box it will flash then fly up as fast as you can you will have about 6 or so seconds and it will go off

Well, flint and steel, an item that allows you to light TNT in Minecraft, was added in creative mode in 0.10.0, so you don't HAVE to be in survival mode, you can do it in creative mode.
