Question for Minecraft: Pocket Edition

I just download pocket edition Minecraft for my iPhone 4s.I have been playing four two hours and have not seen a night cycle.only day light.I this normal.thanks

If you are on creaive there is no time cycle but on survival there is a time cycle. If you are in 0.6.1 alpha for sure there is time cycle
