Firstly to do this you would need to bring up the cheat bar sadly as of research I have done you cannot bring up the cheat bar in Minecraft PE but you can in the pc version, in the pc version press control t to bring up the cheat bar and then type in the following:/gamemode 1 (fairly sure this is for creative) or /gamemode 2 (fairly sure this is for survival) but if you have the pe version then go onto options and then scroll down to the bottom and you should find 'peaceful mode' select that, create a game in survival and then at night and day yhere are no Monsters and when you want peaceful mode off then just unselect it
