Well for steel you dig down in the ground really far then dig around looking for sand color dots in stone then for flint you dig in gravel until you find the black drop known as flint.

I'm still curious. Some said that there is a 20% that the Gravel might turn on a flint but on the forum, it says that there is only 10%.

Just mine Iron and break Gravel. There is a chance that gravel might turn into flint.Guest answered:
Ok fail, dig down and get iron ore and smelt it. Find gravel and break a crapload until a flint pops out. Now just craft flint and steel with and iron ingot and a flint!

You get a pic ax find steel and heat it you also need flint the best kind of pic ax is stone a stick with stone on it to heat it you need a furnace 8 stones.have fun:-)

You can get dynamite in creative its just that you cant blow it up ;-)

You use flint and steel to light the dynamiteGuest answered:
First you need to find a place undergroung where there is iron blocks ( cobblestone with orange dots on it). Then you need to get back up and dig alot of stuff mostly in barriers and soon you'll find flint. Now you will need MORE cobblestone to make furnace. Once you have your furnace, you're going to touch the furnace and then touch the iron block and some wood and then you will have some steel ingots. Now you make a Crafting table and tap on 'flint and steel' and there you go!
