need help with red bricks!

need help with red bricks!
I have the redbrick detector, and it shows me on year five chapter four that the brick is in the chest behind a locked gate in the ministry atrium. I open the gate and the chest but I can't get the bric. Does anyone know how to get it? I could really use a walk-through for all the red bricks and characters in the iPhone version Since even the detectors don't necessarily tell you how to get them. Thanks!

I had this problem I tried it three times and it just wasn't there... Then I went through again making sure I tidied each stack of books throughout the order of the Phoenix and that time it was there! Not sure if that's what did it or it's a bug... Good luck!

I had this problem and finally figured out. Before going for the red brick, you have to put Voldermort into the sphere by adding the three pieces. DO NOT MOVE HIM YET!!!! The water spout will disappear. Now you can use the deluminator and open up the gate. Stand on the right side of the chest to do the pink spell to open the chest.
