Can you change an neighborhood type?
Ok....so I immediately repaired my house to create a neighborhood as soon as the option was made available. I set the type to "by request" members go thinking it was a good middle ground. So fast forward to me having just 1 neighborhood who must be on a different time zone, since we do not appear to be playing at the same time. It appears that there is not a way to change the type to "anyone can join" now........am I wrong? :(

You actually can change it to anyone can join. If you tap on your neiboorhood house a window will pop up with your neiboorhood's info. There will be a "edit" bouton and if you tap that bouton and scroll down you will see a way to change that setting.
