How do I get the scarecrow to stop popping up by my mailbox
It says that I have received my first letter and to click on the mailbox to open it. However once I click on the mailbox it says I have to pay gems ( I don't have any left) What do I do?

Usually the scarecrow is just there to provide you with a short Tutorial about a part of the game you have not yet used, or is new to you. Once you watch his tutorial he usually goes away..
