How do I revive trees for others?
I know how to mark trees and bushes on my farm to get others to revive them, but I do not know how to revive bushes and trees on other farms.
(I can see the icon in the newspaper when others need goods for their boats. Is there a way to know who is in need of tree or bush revival and how I can do that?)

The icon also appears in the newspaper if someone needs a plant revived. When you go to a farm that has been marked, just look around the farm at all Trees and Bushes. If any need revived they will have the symbol on it. Sometimes, when plants are close together, it is difficult to see the sign but the plant will be doing a little bouncing movement to attract your attention. As soon as you tap it, the plant will be revived.

When I press the plant or tree it doesn't revive

I keep tapping trees that have died (not my own but other farmer's) but nothing happens ....

Those trees will not have been marked for revival. Only those trees that have a white square with an exclamation mark on it have been marked for revival by that farmer. All others may be dead and they have no saws to remove them
