Theres a trade route which I call the Pan-Thymone Route, and it actually gets money pretty well. First, unlock Pan. Second, get a big ship with plenty of cargo space and modules for Rhonda Black Holes. Third, look through the stations at Pan, and pick up all organs and Vossk organs you can find. Khador drive to thymone, and sell them all. At thymone, look for implants, which sell well at Pan.

Go to either a vossk or a Terran system and destroy cargo ships and fighters to steal cargo then go to a nearby freindly system to sell it. You require a good ship, lots of cargo space heavy weapons, good tractor beam and heavy armour/shields.

I use a s'kannar ship with 4 icarus af, Hiroto ultrascan, ab-4 octopus, fluxed matter shield, t'yol armour, ketar repair bot 2, X2 rhoda black hole, khador drive, pulsed Plasma thrust and a nirai overcharge. Many of these things are only aquired from the valkerie ad-on but don't be put off as gof 2 wiki gives you other info.

Warning this method of making money may cause the target race to hate you if you want to get the race to like you, you can always attack their opposing race or you can bribe a diplomat found in a space lounge for 15000 or less to tweak your status. With this method I made 3000000 in half an hour!!!

Buy the valkyrie and kaamo club add-ons, complete the storylines and all that, then runn around in one of these ships:
Wraith-nevelian-high agilty
Mantis-pirate-high stats all round
Aegir-nevelian-power
Cormorant-terran-EXTREMELY large cargo hold, especially with a few rhoda blackholes
Of both of the loyalty bars, choose the two you are the most angry with you, and run around bowing them to pieces. Collect all the cargo drops, then proceed to loma. Pay the pirates, and dock at any station. Sell all the stuff besides the necessities {energy cells for khador drive} return and complete destruction stage again, then sell.
Because in loma, every thing is just a bit more expensive, you get more for all the stuff you sell there.

You really don't need the aegir you could use the auto packers or the zmi optistore or for the best you could use the shrinker bt these items are used to enlargen your cargo so you could carry more things but for the best is there really cheap the best one is only 25,500 or less but if you do buy aegir you might want to buy a steering nozzle the steering on that ship need some tweaking

If you already have 4,000,000 credits and the first Add-on: Valkyrie this will work. I have already had success with this all you have to do is just go to any station with a tech level of 7 or greater (anything under 7 will work too but it will help if you do go to a station with a tech level 7 or more like thynome, dekato, genoh, and so on) and buy everything except for things under 5,000. The only exception is commodities especially implants, vossk organs, and regular organs too. But once you do this go to any one of the stations in Loma and sell everything except for what you want to keep of course. This has easily made me a lot of money.
