How do I earn gems besides the colloseum? I can't breed a bone dragon so I want to buy it!

You can buy gems from the shop, but it will cost you real money. The colusium is the only way to get gems for free.
The prices are quite high to buy gems so I would stick with the colleseum unless you want to pay.
