Can't get free gold cheat to work

I've tried the "move the date ahead one month" cheat for getting free gold but it has only worked once. I tried to continue moving date at least one month ahead at a time but no gold so tried moving ahead then back to auto then ahead over one month again still no gold. Did they block this cheat? Am I doing something wrong? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much

They patched the cheat long ago, It does not work now
