Same as him one suggestion if you have lots of Gems it's about 9 or 8 of them to get a lot of money

Train a lot of troups and attack a village that has a lot of money.

What I do to get a lot of Gold is to boost my barracks with a few Gems. Then farm until I see a lot of gold to take. Farm with only archers, minions, healers, and giants!
