Neighbors keep sending me gifts, but they are not in my inventory. WHere are they?

On the top of the screen when you've got the game turned on, there is a scroll. If you click on the scroll, you should see the messages and/or gifts that people have sent you. When you click accept or whatever, it will automatically add your gift into your inventory.

This happened to me also. I think it happens if you click gift back instead of accept. I wanted to do both, but the messages disappear once you click gift back.
