I am having trouble getting gems and purple flowers. Help

Purple flowers can be gotten from ivy's hut or travels in your castle also the stump with the plant sticking out .
Gems are gifts , so get lots of neighbors . You can also get gems from travels within the castle or bandits in the woods another way is completing tasks , leveling up in other games that teamlava offer is the fast way . Even if you do not want to play the games that pop up during castle story download them and they will stop popping up and castle story will give you a task which if you do it usually earns you gems .
