When I go into Campus Life shopping, it's tells me I don't have enough space to buy more clothes. So my question is: How much more space do I get every time I update it?

That is actually sort of complicated... See the upgrades happen in round numbers. So lets say that you paid for an upgrade of 50 units - which would take your closet space total from 200 to 250.
But your current closet space was actually 254 because one of the girls you recruited had an odd number, or you got an odd number from having placed reward clothing in the closet - so when you paid for the 50 additional inventory space for your closet, instead of getting 254, you got 250.
The reason for this is because the upgrade process only works in round numbers, so it can NOT give you 254 - and it is NOT going to give you 260 if you only paid for 250. You see?
