Is there any operative with the 1k+ shards have?
I just want to know if I can do anything with the tiny(I think they are called shards.) I have no use for them.

I you have 7 of one colour you can build a statue which will have numerous benefits. Also once you have built a statue you can dispel it and you get shard and then crystals each larger type of jewel will give you more powerful Statues.
