Glide with a newly purchased parachute for 500 meters in one run

Ive bought new parachutes and glide for 500 meters and nothing happens am I supposed to go on the tree tops or in the cave pls help

The Glide should be in one jump. Easy way to do is to go at tree top and then glide to the forest land

Upgrade your capability to glide to level 3, purchase a new glider (even the cheapest one) then go to tree top, jump n glide between trees multiple times, n glide to land, keep doing that until the accumulative glide sums up to 500m. Even if you run on land in between, as long as you don't go underwater or underground. Iven if you die and try again, you don't need to purchase a new glide.
