What do the boxes do in bakery story?

Question for Bakery Story
What do the boxes do in bakery story? Not when your building an oven, I mean like the Enchanted box, the Candy car, Madeline Tin, Fairytale box, ect. I have 24 gems, so what do those box things give you?

They don't really give you anything, they are just decorations to make your bakery look more lively and stuff.

The boxes don't do anything, and there isn't anything inside of them. They are just decorations for your Bakery, so your Bakery will look better and stuff. They are really just rip offs.
