I got outlawed and when I try to go to quentin he attacks me now I can't get rid of my outlaw am I supposed to restart my game ??

No. Go to see a guy in the sewers in the main city. He will get you all squared away.
Actually you should save be4 you attack anyone , who may make you outlaw.
