WHY DOES THE NUMBER ON MY CARD GO DOWN IF ALL MY BATTERS ARE HITTING .450 AND UP???

You must rest the player for a few games. Sometimes one game, sometimes more. I tend to bat good players with, say -4 or -6, at the bottom of the lineup or in my cardbox. Leaving them too long in the cardbox makes them cool down more imo.
